Grades 9-12

Wyandotte Public Schools has one High School that houses 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th Grades. Roosevelt High School offers core classes along with a number of elective courses designed to enrich our students academic experience. Roosevelt features both Advanced and Dual Enrollment courses to eligible students as well as extra support through various Student Programs and Services. Our school offers extensive class choices in Marketing, Botany, Music and the Arts. In addition to the school day, many after school Athletics, Clubs and Events are available.

Registration

Registration for new residents is in person at the Roosevelt High School, 540 Eureka. Completion of registration is followed by scheduling an appointment with a Guidance Counselor.

Required Documentation

The following documentation is required during the enrollment process. 

  • Student Birth Certificate The registrant must be listed on the birth certificate or an alternate legal document must be provided.
  • Student Immunization Record Alternatively, a current Immunization waiver through the Wayne County Health Department is acceptable.
  • Physical or Health Appraisal This must be completed by a child's doctor or pediatrician.
  • Individualized Education Plan (IEP) (if applicable)
  • Three Proofs of Residency, including:
    1. Parent or Guardian License or State ID with current address.
    2. Mortgage, Tax or Lease documentation showing ownership or rental. If these cannot be provided, a Residency Affidavit will have to be complete at the Board of Education Office.
    3. Additional proof of address dated within 30 days. Any household utility, phone, or insurance statements are acceptable.
