WYANDOTTE READS 2016
Wyandotte READS is a new summer reading incentive program. The hope of Wyandotte READS is to promote a love of literacy and prevent the "summer slide". The "summer slide" is a term used when a student loses some of the reading skills they have learned in school over the summer. We want WPS students to maintain their momentum. This year elementary school students will receive 10 books to read over the summer to return in the fall. Next year we hope to provide ALL students with summer reading books.
