Infant and Toddler Program
Infant & Toddler Program
Wyandotte Public Schools' Infant & Toddler program is located within the WPS Early Childhood Center, located at 2609 10th Street. Our Infant & Toddler Program provides high quality, early learning opportunities for children from 2 weeks-old until 3 years-old. Enrollment is open to Wyandotte Public Schools staff, Wyandotte residents, and families from the surrounding area. All of our classrooms implement the research-based HighScope Curriculum, while providing families the flexibility of choosing their own schedule. The Infant & Toddler Program is open from 7:00AM - 4:30PM Monday thru Friday and is made up of three classrooms.
Our youngest learners engage in developmentally appropriate learning exploration in all areas of development, including: Social/Emotional, Literacy, Mathematics, Social Studies, Science, Creative Development & Physical Development on a daily basis. Classrooms maintain a staffing ratio of at least one staff member for every four children.
