Welcome to the 2013-2014 school year! As always, I am very excited about beginning a new school year. This will be my 22nd year as an educator in Wyandotte. I can’t believe that I am already in my sixth year as principal of Jefferson! I am excited to have five years under my belt. I have learned so much, and I have gotten to know my students and families in a much more meaningful way. It means a lot to me to know my families because it helps build relationships and trust which benefits our students. As always, I hope you will be my partner as we strive to instill life-long skills in our students, both academic and social. We need parents to help our staff create an environment that values education and emphasizes the importance of being kind, safe, respectful, and responsible.
