April 8, 2008 vs. Garden City
Heather Rodery took 1st place in the 100m dash, 200m dash, and 300m Low H.
Megan Weschler took 1st in the long jump and mile run. Cara Smock took
1st in the 1/2 mile and 3rd in the mile. Stephanie Mullen took 1st in
pole vault. Megan Williams took 1st in shot put and 2nd in disc.
April 10, 2008 vs. Dearborn
The Bears were led by Heather Rodery, Megan Weschler, Cara Smock, Kayla Isham, and Brandi Hall. Good effort Ladies!
April 15, 2008 vs. Gibraltar
Megan Weschler won long jump and the mile. Allison Nelson won shot
put. Stephanie Mullen finished 1st in pole vault. Cara Smock won
the 1/2 mile. Chelsea Ball did an excellent job as a substitute in the
2 mile. This was a close meet. It was tied going into the
last race.
April 22, 2008 vs. Annapolis
The girls ran very well. Annapolis had a great team. Megan
Weschler took 1st place in the mile, long jump, and was on the 4x800m and
4x400m winning relays. Cara Smock took 1st in the half mile, high
jump, and was on the 4x800m relay. Marina Resto took 1st in the high
hurdles and 3rd place in the 300m low hurdles.
April 25, 2008 Carlson Invitational
Bears were led by Megan Weschler, Kayle Isham , and Cara Smock. Great
job girls, a great team effort
April 30, 2008 vs. Southgate
It was a hard fought battle. The Lady Bears ran well. Good try!
May 3, 2008 Woodhaven Invitational
The girls did an excellent job battling for 3rd place; came down to the last
two relays and they pulled through.
May 6, 2008 vs. Allen Park
Winners include Briana Sparks in the Pole Vault; Katie Bristol in Discus;
Megan Weschler in the 1600m Run and 800m Run; Heather Rodery in the 100m
Dash, 200m Dash and 300m LH. The Lady Bears also won all four the
relays - excellent job!
May 13, 2008 vs. Trenton
Came back to win with strong performances on the track. Key
contributions were given by Megan Weschler, Cara Smock, Heather Rodery,
Marina Resto, Kayla Isham, Maricella Ruiz, Amanda Chesney, Stephanie Mullen
and Brandi Hall.
May 16, 2008 - Regionals
The girls track team did well at Regionals on Friday. Megan Weschler,
Cara Smock, Stephanie Mullens, Kayla Isham, Marina Resto, and Heather Rodery
all delivered PR's. Heather Rodery did such a great job and made it to
States in the 300m LH's.
May 20, 2008 - MEGA White League
They won the League Meet becoming the MEGA White League Champions.
First place finishers include Megan Weschler - 1 mile & 1/2 mile; Stephanie
Mullen - pole vault 8'9" (new record). 4x400 Relay Team - Kayla Isham,
Courtney Trupiano, Marina Resto, and Maricella Ruiz.
