 School Psychologists

School Psychologists participate in Child Study Meetings, diagnose specific disabilities and consult and provide recommendations to parents and teachers.

If a psychological is requested, the school psychologist will review the information discussed at the Child Study Meeting and complete a comprehensive evaluation. Following the testing, the results are discussed with the parent. An Individual Educational Planning Team Meeting is scheduled at the school. If the student is found eligible for special education services an appropriate educational program is developed.
