April 2, 2008 vs. Southgate
Madison Brewer pitched for the Bears giving up only 3 walks and striking out 6.  Ashley McCaig went 3 for 4 at bat with 2 RBI's.  Laura Lowrey also had 2 hits and 1 RBI

 

April 3, 2008 vs. Annapolis
Madison Brewer pitched striking out 7 with no walks.  Liz Gray and Alex Sciacca scored both runs off hits by Jordan Taurence and Karissa Johnson

 

April 7, 2008 vs. Carlson
Madison Brewer pitched - striking out 3 and walking 3.  Christina Trevino went 3 for 4 at bat with 2 RBI's.  Kaitlyn Maiani went 2 for 4 with 2 RBI's.  Liz Gray went 3 for 4 with 3 runs and hitting the game winning RBI


 

April 12, 2008 vs. Summit - Game 1
Won in 5 innings.  Liz Gray, Karissa Johnson, & Christina Trevino had 2 RBI's each.  Madison Brewer and Chelsea Coulter pitched for a combined 7 strike outs and 1 walk.

 

April 12, 2008 vs. Summit - Game 2
Alex Sciacca led the team with 5 RBI's.  Kaitlyn Maiani went 2 for 3 at bat with 1 RBI.  Ashley McCaig and Marissa Teklinsky pitched for the Bears.

 

April 12, 2008 vs. Romulus - Game 1
Madison Brewer pitched for the Bears.  Courtney Thorington had 5 RBI's.

 

April 12, 2008 vs. Romulus - Game 2
Liz Gray went 3 for 4 at bat.  Alex Sciacca had 4 RBI's.

 

April 14, 2008 vs. Redford Union
In a strong defensive game, the Lady Bears backed pitcher Madison Brewer by holding RU to only 1 run.  Liz Gray went 3 for 4 at the plate with a triple, double, single, and 1 RBI.  Laura Lowrey went 3 for 3 at the plate with 3 RBI's.  Stephanie Roberts was also responsible for adding another single RBI for the Bears.

 

April 16, 2008 vs. Lincoln Park
Karissa Johnson scored Wyandotte's run off a RBI single by Jordan Taurence.  Madison Brewer pitched for the Bears striking out 4 with no walks.

 

April 18, 2008 vs. Ypsilanti
Madison Brewer pitched for the Bears striking out 6 and walking 2.  Ashley McCaig went 4 for 5 at the plate with 2 singles, a double, and a triple and she was responsible for 5 RBI's.  Jordan Taurence and Kaitlyn Maiani each had 2 RBI's in the game.

 

April 21, 2008 vs. Woodhaven
Madison Brewer pitched for the Bears striking out 4 and walking 3.  Courtney Thorington, Laura Lowrey, and Jordan Taurence each had 2 RBI's in the game.

 

April 23, 2008 vs. Taylor Truman
Madison Brewer pitched for the Bears.  Ashley McCaig and Laura Lowrey each had 2 hits in the game and 1 RBI.

 

May 5, 2008 vs. Ypsilanti
Liz Gray went 3 for 4 at the plate with 2 RBI's; Jordan Taurence went 3 for 4 with 2 RBI's; Madison Brewer pitched for the Bears striking out 6 and walking 4

 

May 19, 2008 vs. Crestwood - Game 1
The Bears defeated Crestwood in Game 1.  Laura Lowrey went 4-5 at bat with 1 RBI; Laura scored 3 runs for the Bears.  Jordan Taurence, Ashley McCaig, and Alex Sciacca each had 2 RBI's.  Freshman Madison Brewer pitched for the Bears striking out 12 and walking 3.

 

May 19, 2008 vs. Crestwood - Game 2
Jordan Taurence and Chelsea Coulter each had RBI's

 

May 21, 2008 vs. Grosse Ile
Ashley McCaig had 3 hits in the game.  Liz Gray and Karissa Johnson each went 2 for 3 at the plate with 1 run and 1 RBI

 

May 27, 2008 vs. Taylor Truman
Congratulations to the Lady Bears beating Taylor in the pre-district game.  Madison Brewer pitched for the Bears with a strong defense behind her.  Liz Gray had 4 hits and 3 RBI's in the game.

 

May 31, 2008 - Districts
After beating Taylor Truman on Tuesday, the Bears defeated Southgate 6 to 5 to advance to the Championship Game.  Freshman Madison Brewer pitched for the Bears.  Christina Trevino went 3 for 4 at the plate, two singles, two RBI's and scored twice.  Jordan Taurence hit 2 for 4 with a double, triple and 2 RBI's.  Taurence also scored a run off a single RBI from Ashley McCaig.  The Bears lost to Taylor Kennedy in the Championship Game 9-2.  Brewer pitched for the game.  Liz Gray and Courtney Thorington each had a RBI in the game.  Great Season!!!
