April 9, 2008 vs. Fordson
Allison Bell and Alle Celia both did a great job pitching for the Bears.
Chelsea Stagman and Kerstin Johnston both had triples. All other
players pitched in with singles and ran the bases aggressively. Great
job girls!
April 10, 2008 vs. Taylor Truman
Allison Bell and Cecilia Alessandra did a wonderful job pitched for the
Bears. All the girls contributed to the win. Great Job!
April 15, 2008 vs. Belleville
Alle Bell did a great job pitching for the Bears. Airanna
Jednyak hit a homerun in the 5th inning.
May 5, 2008 vs. Fordson
The Bears had a close game with 2 to 1 in the 3rd inning. Bears scored
3 more runs in the 4th and another in the 5th pulling ahead 6-1 into the 6th
inning. Fordson hit the ball very well and ended up scoring 6 runs in
the top of the 6th to put the Bears trailing 7-6. in the bottom of the
6th inning, the Bears scored 2 runs off of stolen bases to take the lead
8-7. Alle Celia struck out the 1st two batters in the 7th inning and
the Bears pulled out the victory by holding Fordson to have no runs in the
7th.
May 6, 2008 vs. Taylor Truman
Alle Celia did an awesome job pitching 7 innings for the Bears with 4
strikeouts. Dorothy Ratliff had 3 singles and Anna Bommarito had a
double to help the Bears out.
May 8, 2008 vs. Belleville
Alle Celia did an outstanding job pitching for the Bears all 7 innings.
Becca Carly had 2 singles, Alle Bell had a double to help the Bears out.
May 9, 2008 vs. Southgate
Alle Celia pitched 5 innings for the Bears and had 6 strike outs.
Kerstin Johnson had a double and Veronica Smith had 2 singles to help the
Bears out.
May 15, 2008 vs. Bedford
Dorothy Ratliff had 2 singles and did an outstanding job catching for the
Bears. Alle Celia had 2 doubles and did a fabulous job pitching 7
innings for the Bears. Tessa Wolfenbarger added in a triple to round
out the Bears hitting.
May 20, 2008 vs. Monroe
Alle Celia did an outstanding job pitching for the Bears with 4 strike outs
as well as a triple. Dorothy Ratliff scooped up everything behind the
plate catching for the Lady Bears. Alle Bell added a double.
