Marshall Rademacher, Jefferson Elementary School

Who he is: Marshall Rademacher, 9, is a fourth-grader.

Background: Marshall is the son of Mary Crook and Marshall Truchan of Wyandotte.

Why nominated: Marshall is a hardworking fourth-grader. He pays close attention to his teacher and never misses an assignment. He works well with other students, and is always willing to lend a hand wherever needed. Marshall strives to do his personal best in every endeavor and his efforts show in the quality of his work. He comes to class every day with a smile on his face and an enthusiasm for learning.

He says: "I want to be president so I can sign treaties with other countries so we can stop having wars."
