Who she is: Kristina Sullivan, 10, is a fourth-grader at Taft Elementary School in Wyandotte.
Background: Kristina is the daughter of Tom and Cindy Sullivan of Wyandotte. She has two sisters and a brother: Katie, Kim and Bobby.
Why nominated: Kristina is an outstanding student who is a joy to have in the classroom, her teachers say. She is a positive force, always on her best behavior and pays close attention to the day's discussion. Kristina serves as a role model for others, treating everyone with respect and following directions. She has been a teacher's aide and received citizenship awards.
She says: "I love school, and I love my teachers. They are all so nice."
