Who she is: Justine Navarre, 9, is a third-grader at Jefferson Elementary in Wyandotte.
Background: Her mother and stepfather are Angel and Joe Boisture of Wyandotte. Her father and stepmother are Ken and Sue Navarre of Livonia. Justine has a sister, Samantha, and a brother, Joey.
Why nominated: Justine is an excellent student. She is a great helper in the classroom and gets along well with her classmates.
She says: "I want to become a singer or an actress, and I can do this by working hard in school and getting good grades. I always try my best."
