ac-kid-emic spotlight - The News Herald - December 12, 2007

Chayton Fivecoat, 8, of Wyandotte is the ac-kid-emic spotlight pupil of the week.

He was nominated by Joe Stanley, his third-grade teacher at Washington Elementary School of Wyandotte.

Chayton is the son of Gerald and Lisa Fivecoat, and the brother of Aiyanna.  The family has a dog named Mike.

Chayton's favorite subject in school is math.  "I like adding, subtracting and factions," he said.

He plays baseball and soccer, and sings with the Wyandotte Academy Youth Choir.  And somebody, Chayton would like to be a teacher or a professional baseball player, he said.

As the student of the week, Chayton will receive a four-pack of movie passes to any MJR Theatre or Southgate Cinema 20 and a free class session at the Downriver Family YMCA.
