Wayne Students of the week - Alexandra Delannoy, Garfield Elementary School
Who she is: Alexandra Delannoy, 11, is a sixth-grader at Garfield Elementary School in Wyandotte.
Background: Alexandra is the daughter of Anne Pastrana and Enrique Delannoy of Wyandotte. She has three brothers, Evan, Eric and Ethan.
Why nominated: Alexandra is on the honor roll and consistently appears on the principal’s list. Along with being an outstanding student, she participated in the championship basketball team for Garfield. She is a member of the safety patrol, and the Teachers Team and is a kindergarten lunch aide.
